Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Complikit ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on complikit.tech (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
By using our Site, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this Policy, subject to the choices you make through our cookie consent banner.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and provide information to website operators. Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services loaded by the website ("third-party cookies").
This Policy also covers similar technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage, which serve similar functions to cookies.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- Make our Site work properly (essential functions like remembering your cookie preferences)
- Understand how visitors interact with our Site (analytics)
- Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns on Google Ads and LinkedIn (marketing)
- Improve the user experience over time
3. Categories of cookies
We classify cookies into three categories, which you can manage individually through our cookie consent banner:
3.1 Strictly Necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the Site to function. They do not store personal data and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
complikit_consent |
Complikit | Stores your cookie preferences so we do not ask repeatedly | 365 days |
3.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site by collecting and reporting information anonymously. They are only loaded if you give your consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique users | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics | Persists session state for GA4 properties | 2 years |
_clck |
Microsoft Clarity | Persists Clarity user ID and preferences for the Site to track sessions | 1 year |
_clsk |
Microsoft Clarity | Connects multiple page views by a user into a single Clarity session recording | 1 day |
CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM |
Microsoft Clarity | Used by Microsoft to identify unique visitors across sessions and sites | Up to 1 year |
Microsoft Clarity also collects information about how you use our Site — such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and pages visited — to create session recordings and heatmaps that help us improve the user experience. Clarity automatically masks personal data entered into forms and other sensitive elements before any data leaves your browser. Recordings are stored by Microsoft and accessible only to Complikit. We do not use Clarity for advertising purposes.
3.3 Marketing cookies
These cookies are set by our advertising partners and are used to measure ad effectiveness, build profiles of your interests, and show you relevant content on other websites. They are only loaded if you give your consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au |

_gcl_aw |

4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies on our Site are placed by third parties. These third parties act as independent or joint data controllers and have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review:
- Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Ads) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Clarity) — privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
- LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (LinkedIn Insight Tag) — linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
5. Google Consent Mode v2
We use Google's Consent Mode v2 to ensure that Google services (Analytics, Ads) respect your cookie preferences. When you reject analytics or marketing cookies, Google services receive an anonymous cookieless signal that allows aggregated, non-personal modeling of conversions, but no individual tracking occurs.
6. Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time:
- Via our cookie banner: click the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page on our Site to reopen the preferences modal.
- Via your browser: most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Note that disabling all cookies may affect Site functionality.
- Via opt-out tools: Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on; LinkedIn opt-out.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry consensus on how to respond to DNT signals, and we do not currently respond to them. We do, however, fully honor the choices you make through our cookie consent banner.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulations, or our practices. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the cookie banner.
